I’m an author and illustrator of picture books about nature including Fabulous Fishes, Bring On the Birds, and my newly released book, Stripes of All Types.  My artwork is also featured on products including Susan Stockdale's Toucan Puzzle and Susan Stockdale's Birds Coloring Book.

 

My books have won awards from the American Library Association, Parents’ Choice, the National Science Teachers Association, and Bank Street College of Education. This Voice of America video shows how I create them.

 

I'm now working on a book about spotted animals to be published in 2015. It’s a joy for me to share my passion for nature through my books, artwork and presentations!
